Hello! I’m Polly, a freelance copywriter, content editor, comms consultant and general word nerd. I also have a secret past as a translator from French.

You’ll currently find me telling brand stories by day, making and eating pickles by night. Over the last few months, I’ve lent my words and wisdom to a plethora of clients including Mindful Chef, B Bagel, Treetop Golf and OLS (The Online Studio), as well as advising on the communications strategy for the environment charity CPRE London. The swimming pool is my creative sparring partner of choice, but I can (only slightly begrudgingly) work with the robots too.

What about my past work lives, I hear you ask? Well, I delivered word excellence at the Jamie Oliver Group, led the editorial strategy for the indie publisher Gallic Books (now part of Pushkin Press), and ran all things communications and tone of voice for the food media brand Sorted Food.
