One dark, cold December morning in Hackney, I made a few jars of pickles as Christmas gifts. Naturally, I had to create a brand to go with it.
From the vinegary fumes sprang Polly’s Pickles, a tongue-in-cheek pickle brand that plays with common trends and conventions I’d noticed in food marketing.
The tone? Fun, funky and a little bit silly.
The purpose? To tell the story behind the pickles in a fun, amusing way (and to make my life a bit more interesting).

The brand was revived one year later for another round of Christmas gifting, but is yet to receive seed funding.
